A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a dynamic school setting located in Framingham, MA. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with students across various age groups, providing essential speech and language services that support their academic and social development. The position includes travel between school sites, offering variety and engagement with different student populations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in school-aged children.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals.
- Provide direct therapy services both one-on-one and in small groups.
- Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation as required by educational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support students educational goals.
- Travel between multiple school locations as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice as an SLP.
- Experience working with school-aged children in an educational environment preferred.
- Strong assessment and therapy skills across a range of speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to travel between school sites as part of the job requirements.
